It does, I remember it as well. About 1/3 of white people were lynched during that time, a couple hundred to be sure. And this in Danno's mind meant the couple thousand black people who were lynched couldn't have been that many.

You're right, I made a mistake. The accurate number of white people lynched were 1,297. The number of blacks were 3,446.

Now, since you only do "facts", show me the link where it says that blacks were only lynched for criminal offenses.

First of all, I never claimed blacks were "only" lynched for a crime.

My suggestion was- Some people might not have gotten legal justice yet they still got what the deserved.

I have no doubt being Black was a contributing factor to finding ones self lynched because lynchings often took place for crimes that were seen as so over the top or where the evidence was so clear... the desire to not wait for a trail was universal.

In some cases Blacks lynched Blacks or brought the accused Black in to be dealt with.

Many of these cases are documented in court records, medical records, diaries, new reports. We know what the crime was and the details were in many cases.

He's a clown to be sure. Any group that spews hatred of ANY race doesn't warrant or deserve attention. But it's a theme here that if the KKK or any hate groups is brought up, we always have to look at the Black Panthers, NOI, and the CBC, because all of them are just as bad as the Klan, even though the body count is either nil or in the low teens(the Black Panthers have had fights with the police that resulted in about 15 deaths total.)

Your assumption is that hate is disseminated to large numbers of people via fliers and club membership.

We have lots of hate being spread, often times from a classroom or by music.

What else would prompt scores of Young Blacks to suddenly and with no provocation at all to attack whites even beating down old folks without taking a single thing.

Focusing on the Klan is a great fund raiser for $LPC but when was the last time you heard of someone being lynched?

While it has been popular in movies and hype, the truth is It has been virtually non existent for in our life time and very rare in our Father lifetime.
