When Usama would go run an errand I'd be in the flat watching the tv...no cable or satellite. Anyways I got hooked on this one soap operah show that would come on at night. It was in arabic but with english subtitles. Last time I saw it this girl who was supposed to have an arranged marriage with this guy Hasheem ran off to the mountains because she was in love with this other guy. Her whole village went running after her looking for her and I think they were gonna kill her. Anyone know what I'm talking about and where I can go to see what's going on with that? I'd give my eye teeth to see that stupid show today. lol

I thought it was on Nile TV but maybe that was a different show. I'll ask Usama tonight.

Nile TV can be streamed online via their website.

Unfortunately, it tends to buffer a lot, so there are gaps.

Our fav. ME buffet has awesome flat screen tvs with satellite. One of my favorite dates with my husband is to go and gorge ourselves and watch Nile TV for hours, lol.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!
