Off topic : csc said they mailed us the approval on the 18th and it's 23rd today and nothing in the mail. We are in Illinois. Could it be that they made a mistake or does it really take a week for that later to come here from cali

Well, I got the NOA1 hard copy 10 days after I got the text/email. Sending anything anywhere in the lower 48 shouldn't take that long but they do say it generally takes 7-10 business days.

So it moves 1 week in 1 day. Thats promising?

That would be promising, I'd see an approval in a couple of weeks! And we'd catch up to CSC, happiness for everyone!!

If only.

I have a weird feeling...

This "October 22nd" date, they're pulling it out of their butts. It's been that date for a while now. I'd say it's an average, but there would have to be a significant number of filers from August or September still waiting to bring that date so far back, maybe that's possible (there's a couple of Sept filers still waiting...) but not probable. I feel like they're picking a date far back enough so most callers who call can't be all like "well hey, you said ____ date but I filed before then, why isn't it done?". Maybe I'm nuts but they're approving TSC filers from February that weren't expedites, none of it makes sense.

. I totally agree with you. In reality they are doing december filers now. Hang on people. I think our time will come in on or two months. I dont think it will be 3.

Just get ready to keep waiting. November 18th filer here and still no word and waiting. Contacted Senators office and sent in a service request.

Have a feeling the 5 month processing time will be changed to 6 or 7 months as they clearly are struggling to keep things within that time frame.

Just hold onto your butts and keep yourselves busy..

I think they are finishing December now but there are a handful of Oct, Nov included in that.

Once March data is out we can see where us Jan filers will stand. I cannot see a MAJORITY of Jan filers being at 6 months waiting, maybe SOME but not all!

Holy cow this October date is ridiculous! They probably received an internal memo/update/estimates at the contact call center to tell callers say this time until further notice from management.

We can clearly see from the data that we've been calculating from their website a good 2/3rds have been processed at TSC from September up until December.

The last updated back log shown includes january and february filers so we can deduct maybe 2000 (I haven't looked at it again as i'm typing this)

I think the waiting period will jump up to 6 - 7 months also. Lets wait til they update their USCIS data to ad March numbers. I wanna see what the backlog is in that.
