TSC and CSC comparison... FAIL.

Since I've got our NOA1, I've been checking how TSC and CSC process the visas. And I'm so dissapointed in how USCIS manages things between these two. There is NO equality. While March filers at CSC get approved in April, in TSC December filers are still waiting... Why so unfair?! Why doesn't anyone do anything about this??

And their speed is increadibly different, too. Whilte CSC approves aprx. 10 visas a day, or maybe more in terms of VJ data, Texas hasn't been approving ANY since last week. What is going on??

I'm really dissapointed. And I think only TSC filers can understand how I feel. It's been 3 weeks since we've applied, but I already know I'll wait for at least 5 months. This is so unfair... It's gotten to the point that seeing CSC approvals make me depressed and sad. Why is the USA doing this to us?

I always thought the USA is so proud of it's equality and stuff... I wish I could see that.

The rhythm seems always change. When my fiancé filed I-129F for me back in August 2013, TSC was incredibly fast. CSC also in a same course with TSC for an approval but very infamous on VJ for being slow sent approved petition to NVC.

My I-129F was approved in 38 days without any RFE and we did not front-loading the petition. I got my case number from NVC, 2 weeks after approval whereas some fellows VJ here that their petition was processed at CSC got their case number almost 2 months from their approval.

I'm a January TSC filer too. We can see on Igor's list exactly how many November and December filers are left. If I have time to later can do some math with that and the USCIS data to approximate how many November and December filers at TSC there are left :)

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

Just wanted to add that my fiancé & I have been watching people on here with similar filing dates/consulates and have been disappointed as of this morning. A couple named Nat & Cheryl were in the same week as us and are on NOA2 in 17 days after receiving NOA1. They received NOA1 on April 4th....Transfered to CSC on April 8th....& NOA2 on April 21st. REALLY? UGH! (sorry, just needed to vent) Thanks...Terry & Diane

That just doesn't make sense to me how CSC is processing there petitions so fast, while Texas is so backlogged it's ridiculous. The more I read, it seems the more I become upset with how unorganized things are

It's worse than that though. Yes, I get annoyed when I see CSC filers say "it's been 8 weeks :(" but what's really annoying is when you see people who filed at TSC AFTER you already at the interview stage. We filed in December, it's been 4 months and 1 week now since our NOA1. Yet I've seen a case on here where someone (from the UK) filed in January and was approved 6 weeks later!

It's not that I begrudge anyone a fast approval, that's fantastic, I just wish the system was fair! TSC employees shouldn't be allowed to pick up, for example, a January petition until all Decembers have been sorted.

Meh.

This is what I'm holding out hope for - the rhythm changing. We haven't filed yet, but when we do chances are it'll be routed to TSC. I keep telling myself to calm down, what will happen will happen, but...

Fingers crossed for you guys (and later, for myself  ) that you get your approvals soon, and maybe that they figure out a way to better balance the petition load between the service centers.

I am a January filer and still nothing :( It is a very nerve wrecking process. It is so unfair that I am seeing people getting approved in 3 weeks and some of them even at TSC. No logic!

We are in the same boat. NOA1 02/18 and still waiting. Planning my next trip to go see my babe until we hear some news. I try to keep myself as busy as possible but it isnt easy. Hopefully all our complaints reach someone and they do something.

Stop whining about waiting 3 weeks. Many of us had to wait months. When you applied, you were told that it could take 5 months. Expect the worst.

Plus, the speed that two distinct offices, hundreds and hundreds of miles apart, has nothing to do with "equality." What a ridiculous thing to say. Some move more quickly, some more slowly. People within the offices work at different paces.

I know it sucks to see that California moves quicker, but you'll torture yourself more by trying to make comparisons.

Let's face it, the system is not fair and never will be. Two years ago when I applied, CSC was approving at 2-3 months, while VSC (where I was stuck at) was approving at 6-8 months. You may also be stuck again at some slow service center or local office for your AOS, ROC, and citizenship. If there is one thing that US immigration has taught me, it is LOTS and LOTS of patience. Try not to be too frustrated - you can't change their approval rates, but you can change your outlook on this whole process and make the best of it. When this is over, you will be with your loved ones forever. :)

Good luck to everyone waiting.

Sure, but for all of those things at least you're with your OH.
