How long after case is closed at NVC, does it take them to get us an interview?

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me how long it takes NVC to schedule an interview abroad once they have closed the case at the NVC?

I think it takes no more 90 days.

my case is at USCIS yeat.

Check the list in the "May 2014 interview" thread. Dwheels keeps a list there with completion dates and what date the members receive their interview dates. The list moves to a new thread every month, but it's really very useful. I would give the link but I'm on my phone. Good luck

Thanks a lot for this site, according to this it should take about 50 days, even though I am aware it could take up to 90 days. Thanks again though at least I know what to expect now

Hopefully it will be all over soon it has been over a year now that we are waiting for this visa, but patience is all we can ask for until then And I did add myself to the list, thanks a lot again

Hello every body !! I got the following email from NVC today :

Dear Sir or Madam:

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing
of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner
and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment
until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of
the interview. Additional documentation requirements if applicable can be referenced at
the following URL: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3742.html

Does it mean that NVC has completed my case ? if yes, then how long will it take for them to close it and send it to the US Embassy in Algier ( Algeria country) ??
