Visa number

Ok my wife finally now has her visa. I am not trying to book her flight with EVA, I have transferred my mileage to her so we can get her ticket for almost nothing.

To book her ticket EVA is asking for; first document type, so I assume this would be "passenger passport", and this document number and nationality, expiration date. I would assume this should be her Vietnam passport number.

Next they ask for her visa number. On her visa it has a registration number "this has 8 numbers" and also in red ink a different number which starts with a J. In this section they ask for place and date of issue. I would assume that the registration number and visa number is the same?

Maybe someone can advise from their past experience on this?

You booking directly with EVA Air on their website? When I flew with them overseas recently I purchased the ticket on Cheapoair, then received email EVA itinerary and was never asked for this. Simply gave the counter agent my passport upon check-in at the airport. Regardless, I suspect they want the visa passport number, under the name. Starts with a couple of letters, like EB69017655. Two letters and eight numbers. An ex-wife with a CR-1 and an ex-fiance with a K-1 and I never did know what the Control Number in the upper right and the red number in the lower right meant on a U.S. Visa. Maybe somebody else here does.
