The consulate interview officers have significant latitude in the types of questions that they can ask in order for them to determine whether a relationship is bonafide and ongoing, versus a fraudulent and bogus relationship.

is there really that many women coming to US now that don't come to get married? I know many years ago (decades) RU/UA women were brought over for prostitution but they became aware of it and stopped it I think...??

Still are GTGs and other visa abusers out there.....but there is no requirement to even having sex....just becoming legally married within 90 days and the intent to remain that way while permanently residing in the US>

Yes, they can and have asked questions of that nature. However, they are not questions asked at a typical K-1 visa interview so everyone will not be asked those kind of personally intrusive questions.

For the time you are being interviewed, you are speaking with God. God will determine whether you enter the pearly gates or not (I.e. get your visa).

Don't mess with God. Answer His questions no matter how nosey they are.
