Hi, i received my NOA1 and noticed i mistakenly put down the wrong birth year on my Fiancee and called and the mailed me a letter that said to send them a copy of her birth certificate but then i received an email saying we were approved and a NOA2 in the mail do i still need to send in her birth certificate ?

Welcome to the forum.

I would follow the directions of the letter, send in a copy of the Birth cert, quickly. Be sure to include a copy of the USCIS letter with the Birth cert. I would also suggest that you keep a copy, or two, of the USCIS letter. IF it is not corrected, your next opportunity to remedy will be at the interview. Hopefully, it will already be corrected.

Be sure to send a copy of the birth cert., not the original. The copy can be checked against the original at the visa interview.
