F1 student visa application with DEPENDENTS..

Hi Good day,

I would like to ask what are the chances of getting a f1 student visa approved if you bring your husband and 2 years old daughter? ( INTERVIEW PART)

Anyone who tried ? or anybody who have the same situation?

I doubt the chances will be any more or any less.

Your husband and child can come as dependents.

Only thing is, the spouse cannot work as a dependent. You need to file for a different visa if you want him to be able to work (I think J1 works).

OP didn't ask about if her dependent could work. She asked if dependent would affect her chance of getting F1 visa.

I know, I just wrote that in case that was something they were considering doing. If they want/need the dependent to work, then they need a different option. I'd have liked to know that if I'd been in that situation.
