SAVE Database Fix

(sorry if this is in the wrong area)

We recently moved, wife went to get a Michigan drivers license but they say her name is still listed as her maiden name in the SAVE database.... Her ssn and greencard are already in her married name)

How do we fix this so she can get a license in her married name.

(best part about this it was already in her married name from where we moved from)

Do we need an infopass appointment?

Please help!

We discovered this issue after my wife got her green card, which was in her married name. It showed up when we went to update her SS card to remove the note about requiring authorization from DHS to work. The agent at the SS office was able to put in a request to get the name corrected in the database.

We got her SSN in her married name with her EAD, so my guess it when they approved and issued her greencard something got messed up.

But if she hasn't gotten her SS card updated since she got her green card, getting it updated may be a shortcut for you.

Good luck on getting the SAVE database entry corrected. We had lack of input issues with the CBP and their SAVE database when my wife immigrated.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)
