Hello guys. I am half sleepy still after having no sleep last night. Wow! This feeling that I know all of you have been through. I and my friend are planning to go attend CFO but we dont have INTERVIEW ACHEDULE YET. Would this be advisable? What day abd time is the best to go attend the seminar? Any thoughts? Thank you.

it's advisable to get your visa first. then, go to CFO for seminar and Sticker. since you are on K1 category.

it's best to be at CFO office early. they are giving 30 slots a day/ mon-fri

There is no issue completing CFO even if you don't have an interview date yet. Once you have your certificate all is good.

Thanks for replying Hank. On my way to get my vaccines and results in St. Lukes. I'm using my phone and again, I don't see any flashing arrow. That means I can go get my CFO still even without interview schedule? Is that what you mean?

Yes you can, but you have to go back there once you have your visa to get it stamped that you did CFO. Passport control will not let you through without the stamp.

What time to get there? Well I heard stories about people getting bumped who got there at 3 AM, but on the other hand if you get bumped, you lose nothing other than a few hours of sleep having to go there earlier the next day.

3am going to get CFO? Well, nothing worst on getting Medical and have to fall in the line around 2am. I just arrived in St. Lukes to get my results. What if I already have my Visa for example, and bring it to the seminar with me, do I still have to go back twice as the time I have no Visa yet? OR justone time and get everything done??

Op .. If you dont have the visa yet you wont be issued the cfo sticker.

Feel free to attend cfo and you will be issued the cfo certificate that you need to present to cfo office (Not necessarily the cfo office in manila or quirino) you can have the sticker on the day of your flight at the airport... They have desks at sone terminals.. You just have to call cfo office to arrange it....

Hank, I would like to Thank you personally for helping me going through this far. I'm done with my medical and gave me a CD and vaccination chart. My tetanous vaccine is kinda painful and swelling. They said its normal.

Lastweek of April is approaching, more days to go before May shows up. Hoping to see the calendar.

One of my friend told me that she called the US embassy. They told her that they cant also give schedule until their calendars shows up. What an information. It's make me sad. But Thanks God I am moving.

I am glad everything went so well for you. The discomfort and swelling from the tetanus is a normal side effect and should go away within a week. Other vaccines might cause a fever, but again that is a normal side effect that will dissipate in short order.

Hope you get your interview date soon. Keep an eye on the CEAC website because if a good date opens from a cancellation, someone will grab it fast. Hope that person is you.
