I just open a bank account and I got some checks but Don't have my name on it.

Can I use that for payment to pay aos? My wife and I prefer using check than money order.can she use hers? She still have her maiden name on it. Thanks guys

She can use hers. I am not sure that starter checks will work for this. I seem to recall that they say the check must have name/address imprinted on it. Just use her checks.

Use her checks. No problem, even with her maiden name on it, that's not a problem at all.

The checks must be pre-printed with the account holder's name. The address can be pre-printed or handwritten in ink.

Personal checks must be pre-printed with the name of the bank and the account holder. From: http://www.uscis.gov/forms/paying-immigration-fees
