Hey guys,

I've been gathering as much secondary support as possible. And I'm running into an issue. I've misplaced my return flights from Hawaii (our vacation together) and from Vietnam (where we had our reception/banquet). Both return flights are to the U.S/California. I have the stubs of the out going flights. Can I provide them my itinerary or my e-tickets?

For my trip back from Vietnam to the US, (It was actually from Taiwan to the U.S. since it's not a direct flight), I do have a photo of myself holding my ticket, if zoomed in you could see that it was going from TPE to US).

In any case, what are your thoughts on this. I've been searching all weekend for it, and I'm pretty disappointed that I didn't do a better job of keeping my stuff organized.

Thanks again for the help.

The e-ticket will most likely be sufficient.

Also, do you have stamps in your passport? You could photo copy these as long as they have the country name and date.

As for the photograph, I'm not sure. But it can't hurt to unclude it.

EXCELLENT point Teacup. Thank you so much for that. It's been killing me all weekend finding it.

For Hawaii - I have:

Stub leaving LAX --> Hawaii

Parking Invoice for the 5 days charged on my credit card

Car Rental for 5 days charged on my credit card.

Baggage payment.

For Vietnam - I have

Stub Leaving LAX --> Taipei --> Saigon

Stub Leaving Vientam --> Taipei --> Missing Stub from Taipei to LAX

Vietnam VISA loose leaf stamped! (Entry and exit)

Thank you so much Teacup!!! - I feel much better now, I was kicking myself for losing such a valuable secondary support item.

I have all my plane tickets, stubs, travel insurance etc, from 2011. I didn't use any of them as evidence with our I-130, just the visas in my passports, I think you'll be just fine with what you've mentioned!

Thanks again TeaCup. I just want to give them what I can so that maybe I can avoid any RFEs, just don't want to let time go by any more than it already has.

For the form g-325a,

for my wife and me, what should we put down in the box "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:" ?

Naturalization

Status as Permanent Resident

Other (specify)

I'm assuming it's Other - But do I put "Petition for Alien relative I-130" next to it?

Teacup, thank you for offering, and actually I do....because this one is a bit tough of a question.

for the I-130 - question 13. It asks if your relative has ever been in the U.S.?

Since my wife is a flight attendant she has and will be flying back and forth to here for her job.

but question 14. asks if the relative is currently In the U.S. --- This question is asking if my wife LIVES here in the U.S. right?

For Question 7. Other names used -- can this include nicknames ?? Since her Vietnamese name is hard to pronounce she sometimes uses an English equivalent name.

Thanks again Teacup!

Ok, because your wife is a flight attendant, I have no idea how that works, you will need someone more experienced than me.

Question 14 is asking if she is in the USA, if she does not live there and is currently in Vietnam, then the answer is no.

Unless her "nickname" is on any official documents, then No, OR if she was ever married before and that name is on any documents then that is what you would put.

:) Others can jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Very cool TeaCup. Thanks again. Yeah I'm not sure if she actually has her nicknames on any official documents, but she uses it in our chats (her nickname/email). And she'll use it when people can't pronounce her name.

Thanks again TeaCup!

On my my skype chats & emails with my husband we didn't have our actual names, when I was taking screen shots on the logs and stuff (for when we get to interview stage or if ever asked for more proof!) , I attached a cover letter explaining the names we used.

If I can find the cover letter, I'll post it.

That would be awesome TeaCup. That's a great Idea. For your cover letter, that was the letter explaining your relationship right? (which should go underneath the I-130?) I'm assuming best to keep it brief ? max being 1 page?

Found it,

To whom it may concern,

Please note:

On all of our online corrispondence and day to day communication, we both used our nicknames, none of which are legal names.

xxxxxx, xxxxxxxx, xxxxxxxxx, and xxxxxxx, is used by myself, the petitioner, (REAL NAME)

XXXXXXXX is used by the beneficiary, (REAL NAME)

These corrispondences took place online from 2009 to July 2012 when I (the petitioner) moved to Ireland temporarily to be with my wife while we filed our I-130 petition.

Other emails shown are from XXXXXX, the petitioner's mother, show contact between us (the petitioner and beneficiary) and her (REAL NAME) while living together in Ireland from July 2012 to present.

Signed: ______________________________________ Date:_____/_______/_____

If you decide to, this is a sample.
