For the record, when in uniform, I always went where I was told to go ready to kill or destroy whomever or whatever they wanted. The only times I saw the President's auto-pen signature were on my Federal Recognition orders. Other than that, the orders were signed by someone much lower in the chain of command.

Ok, I think I have been fairly respectful of Obama.... occasionally I recall the widespread disrespect and abuse Bush took and dish a little back but for the most part, I like Obama on a personal level..... it is his politics I am at war with.

THe Bush stuff was so over the top, even at the changing of the guard (inauguration) it didn't stop.

That was really a last straw for me in affording civility. I don't go in the mud all that much but I don't mind if others do, it is how the game is played now.

When I retire, I'm going to get his signature on my retirement orders. It doesn't matter to me whose the sitting President at the time, I value it all the same.

For folks that talk about being more religious than others and on the path of righteousness, SOME folks on the Right are way too eager to spill blood(metaphorically and quite literally).

Now this is getting strange. It's touching that you remember my posts, but somewhat annoying the way you misconstrue them.

Now I did post the opinion of my FIL and many others that I know in Crimea. It appears that the insight they gave (at a time when very little news was coming out of the region) pretty much concurs with how things turned out. I said most people were in favor of seceding. I believe it ended up being 96% in favor with an 80% turnout, which actually ends up being most people.

I also made no claim that Russian media is the only reliable source. I have said no media is reliable, They are all pandering to a partisan audience. I believe I have posted links from many sites, including CNN an BBC during this. Feel free to check again if you need.

I for one don't take too seriously those who claim to be "more religious" than others.

Such a claim smacks of a lack of humility.

As for spilling blood, sometimes you must break eggs if you wish to make a cake no?

Today we in the West are in the era of "THE CHURCH OF NICE" and how is that working out?

The good news of Christ and the liberation it brings has been stymied with all this feel-goodism.

Look around the world where Faith is growing and where it is contracting and ask which method produces fruit and which one produces emotion.

The method reaping fruit wins out in my book.
