do we go back to ss office to change his ss card?

he got his 2 year green card and now should we go back to social security office to request a new social security card because the one he has has a work authorize written on it? how does this works?

go to the sso with your marriage certificate and your GC and get the info updated. It might take up to 4 weeks to take effect.

GC received on the 28th of February, 2014 - no interview, no additional RFE's

Divorced as of September, 2014

NOA1 for ROC 14 October, 2014

I went to the social security office and said that I needed to change the status of my SS card as I am now a LPR. They needed my marriage certificate and birth certificate. I had my new SS card in 6 days.
