Hi there! I'm just new here at VJ.I am under the K1 visa category. I just want to ask some questions about the DS-160. :innocent:

1.) Does the DS-160 has an expiration date?Because my interview date will be on May and I made my DS-160 last January 28,2014

2.) What if I put on my travel date plan is on April 2014 but then my interview will be on May, do I need to make another ds-160 or the USEM will give exemption into that? I wasn't able to save mine on my computer that's why I cannot edit it anymore.

Thank you very much for your time! :help::dancing::luv:

God has perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and it takes a lot of faith but it's worth the wait. ❤️

I was on a K-1 Visa on 2014.

Once completed, DS-160 does not expire. What your entered for travel plans are not issued... you are fine.

Like I mentioned before to you, IF you want to complete a new DS-160 you can, but it is not necessary.

I have searched Google and VJ as well but I have not found the answer to the question I have in mind. I tried to fill out the DS-160 but I noticed the form says Expiration Date: 4/20/2014... Is that okay? Please enlighten me. Thank you in advance for your answers. God bless you.

Thank you for taking time to reply to my query. That's the same site I visited when I attempted to fill out the form, but I noticed the expiration date is 4/30/2014... that's the part that confused me.

DS-160 is an electronic form, it is completed online

Follow the flashing red arrow below, click the USEM tab, then scroll half way down for a link to the DS-160.

Thank you for answering. Yes, I am aware that it is an online form. I just want to know if it is ok that it states in the upper right hand corner of the form "Expiration Date: 4/30/2014

It's an electronic form, and that is the only access there is, so don't worry about the expiration date. Give them a few days to update the site, after all it is the gubbermint ;)

Good luck.

Yup...

Don't need the DS-160 completed to schedule the interview.

(just need the embassy to open up the July calendar ;) )

Thank you! God bless you. As of this very second, May 14 is the first available appointment. But then again, it vanishes after a few seconds lol.

It's really hard to get an appointment. Seriously. ?? I scheduled mine last Feb via call center and the earliest that they gave me is May. So I grabbed that opportunity.
