NVC miscellaneous q's

Hello everyone,

Just a few questions I have as I think my case number should be provided soon from NVC. My husband just received his itin # after we filed our taxes does that number have to be input on any of the aos NVC stage forms? Should I be submitting the originals I made copies of for the original I-130 petition. Or should I have my husband get new certified copies and keep the other originals as a spare in case they are not received lost or should I trust that if I submit the only set of originals I have they will have them until the interview date ?( I'm leaning towards getting new certified copies but people keep saying not to worry about it)

Also another random question: I have a new passport which I obtained a month after my wedding last year. I obtained a new one for two reasons I lost the old one (or so I thought ) and thought I might as well get new one and change to married name. Funny thing is the week I get the new one in the mail I find the old one. My concern is that the old one has all or most if the passport stamps in it and new one has from my most recent trip. I heard that u cannot keep both even though only one is active and I did report the old one officially lost through passport agency. I am planning on bringing both with me when I come to interview to have records if all entry/ exit stamps for the duration of my relationship. Does anyone have any insight as to whether this will e a problem since I didn't turn in old"lost" passport?

I did a quick search on google and found the following answer on this page:

Should you locate the passport reported lost or stolen at a later time, you should report it

as found and submit it for cancellation. It has been invalidated. You may not use that passport for travel. See page 2 of this

form for additional information.

Your best bet may be at this point to make a one or two sets of copies of all pages and send it back in as instructed requesting that they return it to you after cancellation. (It says here you can request to have it returned.)

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Passports reported lost or stolen are invalidated and can no longer be used for travel.
• If your passport is recovered after it has been reported lost or stolen, please submit it to the address listed on the back of Form DS-64. When you submit it, if requested - we will cancel it and return it to you. If not requested, it will be destroyed.
• Once a passport is reported lost or stolen, it cannot be re-validated or used as evidence of U.S. citizenship.

You can keep your old passport for the time being to use the stamps provided. Make a photocopy or two of your entire passport.

ITIN number doesn't need to be on anything. It's simply a tax number. Most people submit their originals without any issues.
