NVC Received : some dinkelsberry yehoo in the house of clingons send our petition to the wrong consulate.

Consulate Received : July 30,2014 Transfer to right embassy complete.

Interview Date : Oct 22, 2014

Interview Result : AP , requesting another PC (not expired) and certified divorce decree (was submitted)Stokes interview via phone for petitioner 4 hrs after interview.

Oct 23 email notification visa approved.
Visa Received : Nov. 3 , 2014 VISA IN HAND.

US Entry : Nov. 21, 2014

Marriage : Dec 27, 2014

AOS send : May 12, 2015, received May 14, 2015 USPS priority

Email &text : May 18, 2015, check cashed May 19,2015, return receipt May 21, 2015 stamped USCIS Lockbox, NOA1 (3x) May 22,2015

Waiting to skip ROC and get 10 yr GC due to over 2 year while pending AOS
AOS APPROVED Oct. 4, 2017 * Green card in hand Oct 13, 2017 !!!!!

First K1 denied after 16 month of AP. Refiled. We are a couple since 2009. Not a sprint but a matter of endurance.

It really helps us help you when you fill out your timeline so we know where you are in the process.

What did you send with your I-130 petition to USCIS? I gather this is who is asking for more evidence?

Or did you send anything besides a marriage certificate?

Are there children also being petitioned?

It can take 30 days to receive an RFE letter so stay on it. Until then its just guessing.

Reply with exactly what they are asking for. What makes you think you should send something additional in support of the petition? (It's a petition, not an application. When your petition is approved, the foreign spouse will submit a visa application.)

Best to start your own topic. When you do, tell us what your RFE asked you to send in. Otherwise, we can't help you.

The short answer is that your RFE tells you what to send and instructs you on how to do so. You send what they ask for according to the instructions given. If you don't understand what is being asked for or any of the instructions that came with the request, then type for us what the request says, verbatim. Leave out names and case numbers.

The answers you received yesterday remain the same today. No one can tell you what was missing. Your petitioner will see it

in the hard copy she will receive and must respond to it. If you do not understand what they are asking for when you read the letter then post what it says and ask for clarification here.

We got the hard copy. all they are asking for is the marriage certificate, that the copy we submitted is not valid. my question is, is the marriage certificate from the Nigeria federal government marriage registry in Ikoyi not valid. please help. maybe we got the wrong one. please help. we are given till July 11

We got the hard copy. all they are asking for is the marriage certificate. Maybe that the copy we submitted is not valid or lost in transit and maybe the marriage certificate from the Nigeria federal government marriage registry in Ikoyi not valid. please help. maybe we got the wrong one. please help. we are given till July 11
