can someone explain this to me after 14 months on this devilish AP this is what my statut update says

what is the meaning of this ?

I'm so sorry to you about AP ... I have been 30 month of AP Nightmare and still waiting for thier visa i send 2 times medical record to embassy as well and aslo my case status show expirning now its heart breaking process from embassy after interview but all gonna wait and praying inshallah we will get out from this nightmare very soon i will praying for you good luck and hope you get your visa soon

ms harper timsah sorry i don't now how to do this timeline but i think when we say AP that means interview has been done since 04 feb 2013 no news from anyone and they did not ask for any documents the continue to say AP .so what is this ?

I know what AP is, but some people do have AP at NVC, so it is better to ask to be sure.

My guess is that it is a glitch of some sort. I don't think the online case status is totally reliable. I would call and talk to a Tier2 officer, or email the embassy and ask for current case status.

When was the last time you been in contact with the embassy? Have you called or email them about this and asked them?

Petitioner should do a congressional inquiry to get a decent answer. Could be a mistake, could be a returned petition.

dwheels i have contact the embassy one week ago before the statuts change the still said ap my husband call the attorney in charge of my case and he says he will send a mail with the proof of everything. if they don't give a decent answer as you said ebunulowa he will contact the department of state .i try to call them today myself but no one want to answer the keep saying old the line till you got the voice mail it seems like other people play with another lives.

This has to be some kind of glitch. If you've been in contact with the embassy, surely they can't close your case due to abandonment. Especially since you're waiting on AP to be finished which is their hold-up, not yours!

I seem to remember there being a thread maybe a week or two ago with a similar issue.

Can't remember how it played out, but might be worth looking for it to see what their trouble and resolution, if any, was.

After sending you an inquiry explaining that the applicant had her interview at the consulate on February 5th 2013, and her case had been held for administrative processing, you e-mailed us a response on August 19th 2013 stating that the case was still undergoing administrative processing. Furthermore, we were informed that there was no time length as to when the processing would be completed and were waiting to hear back from the consulate.

Upon checking the CEAC website this morning, we found a message saying that the registration and the I-130 approval for the case was to be cancelled because despite having provided her with a notice, she did not contact the consulate. Please note that neither our office, the petitioner, nor the applicant at any time received a notice saying her registration was to be cancelled. .

Moreover, the petitioner and our office has been in contact with you periodically inquiring about the administrative processing on Ms. X s case. Finally, the applicant already had her interview. Registration must be renewed when an applicant's case is pending at the NVC or at a consulate prior to the interview. In this case, the applicant was waiting to hear a response from the consulate. She was told that she would be notified by the consulate when her case had completed administrative processing and was not given a date as to when she would have to check back.

Please inform us as to the correct status of this case. In addition, I would like to take this opportunity to once again request you to please provide us with a decision on the case. It has now been a year and two months since the case has been placed under administrative processing.

Administrative Processing
