Greetings

Hope all of you are well here. My uncle-in-law who is a US citizen (sponsor) had applied for parents-in-law had applied for immigration a long time ago. So in October of 2013, my parents-in-law had their interview at the US embassy in Islamabad in Pakistan, and since then they have been in AP (administrative processing). At that time, my mother-in-law had requested to keep their passports with themselves for further travel, they havent travelled since then, and now they would like to send their passports back to the US embassy. I tried getting in touch with the US embassy via email twice and phone calls, but they dont allow me to speak to anyone, and the embassy has not replied since I emailed them back twice in November of 2013. So at what specific address and to whom should my parents-in-law send their passports to at the US embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan?

Also I was wondering if my uncle should contact a senator to inquire about my parents-in-laws' case?

Thanks

The embassy will contact them when the visa is ready and at that time they will request the passports and provide instructions. Since they have been in AP so long they will probably have to go in person to the embassy anyway. Do not just send the passports to the embassy without instructions from them to do so or they will get either returned or lost.

Contact your US representative's office to have them follow-up on the case. They cannot speed up AP but they can check on the case for you.

Thank you all for your replies

It definitely is a test. May God make the process quicker and easier and unite us all with our loved ones.Ameen. I have used that website in order to inquire, but I have had no success in terms of them replying. But I will try again, and God willing get a positive reply. Please keep my family and I in your prayers as well.
