One question about medaical exam in Montreal

I am trying to book the medical exam. I have checked the old posts and it seems that Medisys in Montreal is a really good choice. I live in Manitoba and thus have to fly there for medical exam as well as for the subsequent interview at the consulate. Now I can't decide if I should take two trips for medical exam and interview at the consulate separately or just one trip for both. Is there any one here that have took the medical exam recently and know how long it will take to get the result?

Thanks in advance!

The results take three days. If I remember correctly, you will receive the results on Thursday if your exam is on Monday. Brian ended up going to Vaughn instead, so I would double check when you call.

Thanks a lot! I have my interview on Tuesday. So I should I have my exam on later than Wednesday of the week before the interview? I will call them tomorrow. By the way, do you know what is the cost of the hotel per night to stay close the consulate?

Thanks again with my best wishes!

3 days after exam day and do not count weekends. I had my exam late on a Tuesday and got my results back very late Friday (6pm ish) and my interview was Monday. Do not go any later than Wednesday for a Tuesday interview. Check flight prices. It would have been cheaper to fly twice (by about $100-200) than a hotel (Best Western Rue Drummond) for the week but I made a bit of a vacation for the week. It's a 10 min walk from Medisys to the consulate.

Check expedia for hotel prices and then check the hotel itself. Some are pretty yucky, I avoided anything too cheap because of trip advisor reviews. I was not bringing home bed bugs!

We stayed at Le Square Phillip from Sunday night to Saturday morning, so I'm not the one to ask about cheap pricing. I loved the hotel though, and it was super close to the consulate. We decided to make a vacation of it, so finding a cheap hotel wasn't much of a priority for us.
