I know they are talking about my first name. However I was advised to apply with the name that I wanted printed on my green card.

At the time there was no explanation about first\last names so I just did. (Apply like that)

At this point I just need to find a way to figure everything to do it correctly.

Local USCIS office: Oakland Park, FL 

App Will Be Sent to: California Service Center

 

03/18/2017 - Application Sent (I-751)

03/20/2017 - Application Delivered. (Day 1)

03/24/2017 - Date Of Biometrics Letter (Day 4)

03/30/2017 - Date I Received Biometrics Letter (Day 10)

04/14/2017 - Actual Biometrics Appointment @ 10 AM (Day 25)

Never Received  - NOA 

01/18/2018 - I-551 Stamp (Day 305)

06/26/2018 - Case was transferred to NSC. (Day 463)

08/03/2018 - Received 18 month extension letter. (Day 501)

09/01/2018 - Submitted N400! (Day 530)

 

N-400 Citizenship 

Permanent Resident Since: 05/20/2015

Local USCIS Office: Oakland Park, FL 

Applied Online.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Please Guys, I want to switch my names, use my middle name as my first name...while my first name will be used as my middle name, do I need a court order for this, I just POE, and I figured it will be better I do this before filling out any paperwork as it will be difficult to do after filling for AOS, SSN, EAD and Advance Parole.

for example, on my passport/Visa I have PAUL VIC EEOSAS

But I want to go with the name of Vic Paul Eeosas.

I want to do this before filling out any paperwork for AOL

You should have done that in Canada then and got everything changed including your passport prior to arriving, to do it here I am sure there is some kind of residency requirement by the courts for them to issue a court order changing your name.

Why not simply have people refer to you as Vic and leave it at that?
