That seems to be an Embassy to Embassy thing (London requires none). The most I've ever heard is three though, so if you cannot get an answer from your Embassy then I would get that many in case. I tried looking on the Albania Embassy site but I couldn't locate it, so I would email them.

Yeah, and I can't find anything about fiance visas. I have been trying to call all day today, and all I hear is the voice mail about everything else but K-1. Even tried faxing, no reply yet. There are useless sometime

In my experience, email is the best way to contact an Embassy. I'm speaking from experience with London, but if you can't get through with a call or a fax it is a good option to try!

If your fiance received the packet 3 then it should include with it what they require for the support. My fiance (now wife) found out that she needed 3 years tax returns (I had sent only one year's.) That's what the Colombian consulate wanted, so it is upto the consulate what they require. But at the worst, if you send out 3 years and they only require one - at least she can just not send/give them the other 2 years. In my case I had to Fed ex overnight and dish out another $55. good luck

engfridak,

If you can't find any consulate-specific information, 3 is probably a safe number.

For Bogota, Colombia you need three years. For some Embassies 3, 1 or none. If I was you I would take three to play it safe.
