Hi,

I have send my I 130 form on oct 18, 2013 and received at chicago lockbox on oct 21, 2013 (confirmed by email and after few days received a letter at home adress). It mentioned that my case is in National Benfit center. Now its almost 6 months passed and no response from uscis. Shall i call uscis to ask them or just keep waiting. Plz tell me as my wife is desperate to return home, she is living with me after marriage. And Pakistan dont have DCF.

Kindly help me.

As per what the USCIS processing times say, it is really an unknown when you may get a NOA2 for your I-130. You can call but they will probably say you're within processing times, and to wait.. or try to even put a service request in. A lot of people on here have been waiting up to almost a year. There are some cases where they have been processed within 5-6 months.. depends on how fast USCIS has been working, but there has been a massive backlog for the past few months..! It's a waiting game! Good luck!

The only answer is to wait. People from the same country who filed in may /june/ july / august are still waiting. We filed in aug, were transferred and tried to put in a service request recently and were told that background checks are being done. You cant hurry the process along. Keep hoping and praying that things happen as fast as possible, but be prepared for a bit of a wait
