I randomly came across the thread maybe two days ago when I was looking for an answer to a question I had but can't find it however................this is the embassy info for Juarez http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Mexico&cty=Juarez I believe all of your questions will be answered here. Here is the country portal http://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=Mexico you can search for your answer or one similar there. The flow chart lists all the steps in the process http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow This link list all the forms that need to be completed http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1forms but these will be provided by the embassy to the beneficiary . My country is Ghana however I recently received my NOA2 and this is what happened

  • 4/01 received notice on the USCIS website that petition was approved and will be forwarded to NVC
  • NVC assigned a case number on 4/10
  • 4/15 file was sent to the embassy in Accra
  • once the petition reaches the embassy you and/or your beneficiary will get contacted however I'll contact them first.

Your hard copy NOA2 will say allow a minimum of 30 days before contacting NVC but disregard that. There isn't a phone number on the NOA2 but there is an email address to contact NVC but again disregard that as well. After maybe 5-7 business days you can contact them at 603-334-0070. Sorry if this post seems a little disjointed.

Yes, the I-134 and supporting financial documentation is needed at the K-1 interview.

Juarez will send the USC and the beneficiary in Mexico a letter. Sometimes the letter does not reach the person in Mexico because of the crappy mail system there. If the only one that receives it is the USC, it can be mailed or scanned and emailed and printed out by the beneficiary in Mexico. It does not have to be the original.

The letter you receive points you to the sites where the instructions, forms and place to schedule your appointment and interview is. The letter is the only 'packet' you will receive. You should go to the links(which I am posting below) listed in the letter. The letter will be needed by the K-1 applicant at their ASC, medical and interview in Juarez, along with the confirmation page from the DS-160.

Here are the forms: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/fianceforms.html ,

instructions (very important to follow and they explain a lot): http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/k1k4dec13.pdf ,

pay, schedule ASC and interview: http://mexico.usvisa-info.com , and

CDJ info: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Mexico&cty=Juarez

While waiting, you can read through the reviews to see how the procedure works and what documents were needed by others applying for a K-1: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Mexico&cty=&dfilter=5
