Hi guys,

I'm in the UK and we got our NoA2 recently. Now obviously I want to make the process as short as possible, so what is in the package I should be getting from the London embassy?

I want to get as ready as I can be when it arrives!

Iv had a look around VJ and I may have missed it so I'm sorry if I'm being a little silly here..... I see there are example forms via the guide>process page, are these the only forms I'm going to need?

Thanks guys, and I hope you all get a smooth ride on this process!

It should just be your LDN case number and a link to http://london.usembassy.gov/ds2001.html (UK folks may be able to give more clarification tho!).

I was able to ask for packet 3 information by email, not sure if London consulate does something similar.

Hello.

Just to confirm what the previous poster has said. Its just one letter with your case number and a website address. You will file your forms electronically.

If you know your case number already (by phoning DOS I believe, can't remember but I think it was them and not the NVC) then you can go ahead and book your medical. Make sure you have your police certificate to hand by the time the medical comes around.

Also if the beneficiary hasn't got a long form birth certificate (listing both parents' names) then order one of those as they can take a bit of time to receive and you will need it for the interview.

Hope this helps and good luck!

The answer in post 2 is not the K1 link. Don't follow it.

The link in post 4 will guide you through London procedures. Follow it.

Thanks guys, just the information I was looking for!

Im pretty sure I can find this out but how recent does a police check have to be? I have one from 2011 but pretty sure this is out of date, right?

If you will read the London Guide, you can find many answers. The first post has a link to the London website list of documents needed. London discusses each document including the police certificate. Read the guide and follow the links given for the answer straight from your embassy. Each embassy can be different on this part after NOA2, so follow what London says. Edited by Nich-Nick
