Hello all,

My wife and i are preparing our docs for an interview in London for a CR1 visa. Your help with some issues we are having with the I-864 would be greatly appreciated.

She is a USC currently living and working in the UK, when we move to the US she will not have a job. For her income do we enter $0.00 (what she will be earning at time of move)? Or do we enter her current UK income in USD? In either case we have a joint sponsor who meets the threshold so no biggie, just want to be clear.

Also, do ALL evidence docs for support forms need to be originals? Getting my father-in-laws W2 etc from the states will be tricky, especially at this time of year.

Many thanks for all the great work on this site,

Hi there...we are in the same position.

From what i understand your income here is not accountable so $0.

Your joint sponsor will fill out a i-864 and will need to provide his latest tax records for you to provide for interview.

We havent got originals, we have copies of passprt, drivers liscence, mariage certifiacte (proving relationship to ourselves) and social security card and his 2013 tax return.

From what i understand all your paperwork has to be originalls....someone will chime in and confirm

all the best
