I entered the U.S. at age 7 under a religious visa with family. In 2012 I applied for Deferred Action & was approved. I am now 26. I got married in 2013 & applying for a green card. Since being married my last name has changed. My work permit through DACA is under my maiden name, social security card is under married name now. Last week I went to DMV to get a new license & they wouldn't give it to me under my married name. I showed them my social security card & marriage license. They said they have to go off of the name on my work permit & until I get that changed, my license will be under my maiden name. My question is, when I apply for a green card will it be a problem if my work permit & driver's license are under my maiden name? My proof of name change are my social security card & marriage license.
