F2A case complete, Non current PD & retrogression

greetings!!!

The level of tension has incresed with the news of Retrogression happening in coming Months, My PD is 10th sept 2013 just two days from the current cut-off date. And my case was complete visa phone on 3rd Feb 2014 and official mail by NVC on 7th March 2014.

My questation is the Impact of retrogression on case complete petition and expected tennuer of retrogression. Do such cases get some grace period and chance for IL in coming month before or during retrogression

We don't know which month exactly retrogression is, and how far will it go backwards, but everybody is hoping for better news!

But nothing is certain as I have heard that post 16th sept 2013 there is no case number available so I dont know wether we ( 9th sept to !5th sept 2013) get some grace time and allowed to apper for Visa Interview?

I wish i were a pro in this matter, but i only know the predictions written in the net, and from what i read, people who's PD's are after the cut-off, are not invited to interviews. I'm not really sure...

Is there any tool to find out which month of PD NVC are processing i know some one who has Their PD in the month of April 2013 and get their IL for May 2014 end.

Okey buddy so its upto the consulate who arrange the interview, How busy they are!!! I am just left from 2 days from the current cut off date I.e 8th sept 2013 and myne 10th sept 2013 and case completed on 03 feb 2014 visa phone and official mail as on 7th march 2014.

No idea what you are talking about. Grace period for what?

The US Embassy will only schedule a person for an interview if the person can be issue a visa which means a current PD.

No current PD = no interview.

No such thing as a "grace period" for anything when the PD is not current.

WORLDWIDE F2A: From early 2013 through September 2013, the level of demand for numbers in this preference category was extremely low. As a result, the F2A cut-off date was advanced at a very rapid pace, in an attempt to generate demand so that the annual numerical limit could be fully utilized. As readers of the Visa Bulletin were advised during that time, such cut-off date advances were not expected to continue, and at some point they could stop, or retrogression might be required.

The level of demand being experienced for FY-2014 has resulted in the Worldwide F2A cut-off date being held since October. Despite no forward movement of the cut-off date, the level of demand has continued to increase dramatically. At the current rate, such demand will require a retrogression of the F2A cut-off date within the next several months. That action would be necessary to hold number use within the annual numerical limit.

MEXICO F2A: Despite an earlier retrogression of this cut-off date, the level of demand remains extremely heavy. As a result, it is likely that another retrogression of this cut-off date will be required to hold number use within the annual numerical limit.

Wow. This is incredible. How can you hear this news when it will not be public for another 2 weeks? The June 2014 Visa Bulletin will be released around May 10. Today is April 25.
