We had our interview today in Houston, and got approved. The IO was a super frendly lady, and I had a felling she has been doing this for a long time. What I coudn't belive is the number of people in the waiting area at 10 AM, only 5 couples, at 11 AM there were only 2 couples. When I had my interview 7 years ago in Atlanta it was packed, I still remember the interview which was only 10 minuts in the IO office and left with no answer for 4 weeks. This time the whole thing took 1 hour. First, we were taken in the office and asked question about our relationship and went over the file added some more stuff to the file. Next, the IO asked us to wait in the lobey so she can go over the file and make a dicision. I thought something was wrong, but after 20 minuts she came and gave us the approval letter with no stamp in the pasport (I guess we should have asked for one). Later in the day, we recived 3 emails and texts that the card was order.
