Hi everyone,

I was really excited when my wife just told me, that she got a text, that our case was accepted and that they will send Form I-797...

Then I opened my emails (We put my email address in there and her phone number, so each of us gets updated), and saw that I received three emails (just like her receiving 3 texts)...

I didn't think much of it, until I checked it closer...

We got three different notifications with three different Case numbers...

Did that happen before? All the numbers are following on each other, like 1, 2, 3... Can this lead to problems with the AOS?

Or should we just wait until we get the I-797 and if we get three letters we need to be worried?

Thank you in advance :)

You would have gotten three different case numbers if you filed three different applications.

I-485, I-130, I-131, and I-765 all have different case numbers and the USCIS notifies you about each on individually, instead of giving you one case number for entire application :)
