ST PAUL - Minnesota: Early Walk-in 2 weeks before the actual appt. Successful. I told the officer that spouse and I will be out of town. He was very nice. Security Officer response "Alright, usually I make the call and I can let you in. No problem" .

My 2 cents.. try to go around 1pm. They are usually done with their morning appts and its pretty much a quite lounge. When spouse and I stepped in, there were about 5/6 people waiting, by the time we finished completing forms and got the ticket number, we were almost next. In/out 25 mins. When we left, there was no one in the lounge.

Looks like we're going to try early walk in this Friday then. The day my wife is scheduled is their busiest day of the month at work, they do not like letting people take the day or even half day off.

Thanks for finding that, the only one I found on a search didn't look too positive. There was no problem with an early walk in two years ago, but it looks like things have changed.

Successfully did and early walk in bio. Guard mentioned we were kind of early, we went on the 18th and our appointment was the 30th. But he said they're not busy at all, so he let us process my wife's bio. Very fast, I don't think we were there for 10 minutes.

Entered building and waited for the guard to finish talking with person ahead of us.

Guard said ok to early bio, and handed us the form.

Completed form and returned it to the guard to get a number.

Number was up as soon as we got it, and my wife walked right in to get her picture and fingerprints taken.

Said thank you to the guard on our way out.

Everyone was nice, friendly and quick.
