Tracking hate in America

Southern Poverty Law Center has a website that tracks hate groups by state.

My state, Ohio, surprised me with 31 total groups.

Looks like California, Florida, and Texas lead the pack with the most which does not surprise me because of their size.

North Dakota, Wyoming, and Maine have the fewest. Interesting enough Kansas only has 5.

I don't think free speech should be protected for these groups that express violence and or has a history of violence. I consider the KKK a terrorist organization. I think you forfeit whatever rights you have to express yourself the moment you advocate harming another person or group. If it was up to me they would be raided, dismantled and their leaders jailed.

When one think of a single group of org which NEEDS to keep hate alive to keep the money rolling in, it is this group.

Unfortunately, the only groups that the U.S. consider terrorists are brown and black groups. Any other American groups that love to kill other races are not considered terrorists even though they have terrorists behaviors and characteristics. Just like that guy who shot at the Jewish Community Center and retirement home. Then the dummy killed two Christians at that a dad and a son. If someone had him on a terrorist list lives probably could have been saved.

They did enough to show they are a well known hate group. This blood falls in the hands of the U.S. government, the FBI in particular.

AH MAKES SENSE to me now.......so whenever someone on the far Right doesn't like something (ie: my good buddy Danno in this post) it's best to look through their propaganda to find out why.

It get's better, the above Breitbart story is not 100% true and has many falsehoods. The FBI did not severe it's partnership with SPLC. But who cares about telling the truth when your trying to make up stories about an organization that has kicked White supremacists in the ### up and down the mason dixon line figuratively speaking through legal means of course.

Not true. You really don't need to fabricate the facts. The do have minorities on staff. I think what you meant to say their executive leadership team does not have any minorities. That is a big difference than saying the entire staff. While I think that is unfortunate it does not distract from their overall mission in my opinion.
