Hello,

I'm a bit confused how to apply for the VAC appointment for my husband. We are at the ustraveldocs site and he has a login ID from his previous b2 application, so we get that far....but then we get confused once we're on the home page.

Do we just click on the new application/schedule appointment button on the left? And then just fill all the information there?

That eventually gets us to scheduling VAC...not interview right...since interview is already scheduled by NVC?

And now we are really pissed off. This website: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-iv-visaapply.asp

says under step 5, that there is an option of proceeding based on your category. We are category 1...NVC scheduled our appointment, we just need to schedule VAC. After logging in, this never comes up! There is no option for this!

And then when we try to go ahead with clicking the only viable button on the site that even remotely applies to us, "new application/new appointment"...we get as far a profile information and it tells us the details match a profile with the same email address ID as the one I"m currently signed in with!!!! And it says if you've forgotten your password, blah bla blah...how can they have this error when I'm signed in as that exact user id?! WTH is wrong with this site?!

How is my husband going to schedule his VAC!??!?!

I don't have any advice but wanted to follow along since we hopefully will get case complete soon and also will have to travel to Mumbai for medical and VAC.

Is there any number you can call to book the VAC over the phone? I am guessing it would be an indian number?
