If I'm understanding this correctly, page 6 would explain why they're being adjudicated out of order, no?

Yep, good catch.

Holy ###### where did you get this???? This should never have been released to the public - WOW AWESOME FIND!!!

The wonders of the Freedom of Information Act, one of the tools we as the public have to hold the public officials accountable. They have redacted lots of stuff, really wondering what's in those conversations...

I'm on page 11 now, and it appears the NSC backlog could be because 50% of transfers went there while TSC and CSC only got 25% each.

Also, the K-3s were sent separate, which would explain the slight delay those people experienced....

Ok, back to reading! Thanks again for sharing this!

Both TSC and NSC required training. On pg6, they mention sending training batches to each: NSC got 1800 and TSC got 300.

I saw that. NSC also wanted NBC to ship more frequently than once a week. Why on Earth did they think they had the capacity?! Oye.

Thanks for sharing this! I am very suspicious of the large amounts of redaction, wonder what they are hiding?

Redactions are likely personal information/details, either of the staff or of the petitioners (that's generally what's redacted). ...you don't actually want any/everyone able to read your file personal data, right? :D

Has anyone done a FOIA for the K1 petitions that went to TSC and ended up not getting snail-mailed NOA2s (even though the paperwork was processed and sent along to State, etc)? I know there's been a rash of those (missing NOA2s); might be interesting to see if there's a similar training-related reason that many of us hit hiccups.

I see you submitted your I-130 in September and were approved in 5 months. It took us 9 months to get approved.

You got an interview date last Friday. We are still waiting for our NVC number to be assigned.

I find it pretty amusing that you had "times of frustration" that resulted in "multiple inquiries". :D As far as I can tell, everything is happening pretty fast in your case. Sure, share the file (there are many free file hosting services online), but I would just like to remind you of how lucky you were. Be happy. :)

Its ridiculous to think anyone has to wait a certain amount of time before they can raise awareness inquire or complain. Isn't that how things get done in the good old US.

I waited 3 months and I wrote a letter to Obama yes directly to him and got an approval 10 days later, coincidence who knows. And the letter wasn't really even about me I wasn't complaining about me, but i sure was complaining about the process. And that was back in 2012 when approvals were 3 to 6 months.

This is the only way things get recognition and things get changed. We all sit here so happy to just wait what use to be 5 months, now a year. Hell naw That is totally unacceptable. Someone comes along and goes through faster. God bless um. Why be mean and a hater.

So you just do what you do OP and keep it coming. Congratulations on the upcoming interview

I think there is some personal data redactions, but not the majority.

Lots of what they call privileged are stats and other operational stuff. I got a letter explaining all the legal mumbo-jumbo on what they provided and what they couldn't. I am allowed to even appeal if I so chose to have some of the stuff un-redacted.

This is very interesting. That response is sort of what I'd expect. Funny how some of the people are trying to tell them to get in front of the story, but that response was priceless. Maybe forward this off to the folks at the NYT who wrote the article about petitions being delayed due to DACA for some sort of follow up. There's definitely a lot of info here that could help those who are still being processed.

I too am still waiting and it's been 9 months - 10 on the 21st of this month and I am seriously trying very hard everyday not to break down and cry. I want to visit my friend in Denmark and the best way would be to transit through the U.S and I can't even do that without a visa which is almost impossible to get if you have a case pending. It's like I'm in a box and no one will let me out. No one will even put a cut out so I can get some air. I am just hoping like you though I get a reply by this month which will make 10 months. This is just ridiculous :[

My case was transferred to California on January 31st. That's the last I hear.

Did your case get transferred ?

How long did you wait after it being transferred ?
