Hello! Wanted to know if the New Delhi Consulate allows the US citizen husband to join his spouse for CR1 visa interview? The embassy support desk staff told us only the person whose visa appointement is scheduled can go inside but I have read some reviews on Visajourney where the spouse is allowed in. Could somebody please clarify?Thank you.

I was just at the New Dehli consulate with for my Fiancee's interview. I showed my US passport and they let me in no problem for his interview. New Dehli is the only consulate in India that allows this.
