Okay. So for the last few days I have been away from everything "immigration". Went to visit the husband for the weekend and gave it all a rest. Came back today and figured I would check up on things, not really expecting any movement of any kind. Sure enough, USCIS still says under review...expected that. However, I did not expect what I found when I checked my timeline. It says that our case should be adjudicated between March 13, 2014 and March 31, 2014! Now I am thinking, either I slid back in time OR...they got REALLY speedy at NSC all of a sudden. I am an optimist, but I am also a realist so my hopes are not soaring at this point.

So did I really slide back in a time warp, is this just a numbers thing...or can I allow myself to be a little bit more (cautiously) optimistic?

not sure what you're expecting? You just filed.... at the very least you have another 3-4 months to wait. They received thousands and thousands of files a day. Look at my signature and then decide whether whining is vaild at this point. SO unless you filed an expedite, you have to wait.

OR you have incredible luck.

The estimate on the bottom of your timeline is for entertainment purposes only. It means nothing really. Just fun to look at and wish upon a star..

When I filed last April, the processing times were at 6 months. So 6 months turned into 11 months and 6 LONG days. and they didn't even touch my file to process it until February 2014.

The estimate from VJ is just an "estimate" based on available info on the web site.

You'll be better off following the timeline USCIS shows on their website.

Good luck

@LoveMyTico...I'm not whining, just sharing. This forum helps to take the edge off. I was merely sharing my smiles, but take it how you like. I am well aware I will probably see snow fly again before anything significant happens, I just thought it was rather funny.

I follow the USCIS timeline, and I find that one amusing at times also. Off to read some more, and keep on keepin' on...

The estimate is based on other people who've reported things in their timelines, so someone who had a expedited case with a priority date near yours got an approval or some such statistical outlier. I would think nothing of the VJ timeline estimate unless and until a lot of cases near yours are being reported as being approved.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.
