Hi everyone,

I will fly to US on 19th May and will arrive on 20th May under k1 visa. We will get married in 1 or 2 weeks after my departure. We would like to apply AOS for me. I was reading the guides and have some sight about how to apply but still have something to ask. My first question, how much fee for the AOS?thank you :)

Our timeline heart.gifheart.gifheart.gif : December,21st 2013- Sent our I-129F packageDecember,23rd 2013- Texas lockbox received the packageDecember,27th 2013- Email Notification for NOA1January,2nd 2014- Alien Registration number changedJanuary,3rd 2014- NOA1 hardcopy receivedJanuary,29th 2014-NOA2 mailed(26 days)!*got information from USCIS at 8.30 pm (GMT+7)February,3rd 2014-NOA2 on handFebruary,19th 2014-NVC left!!!February, 25th 2014- NVC hard copy notif on hand (ask to fill in DS-160)February,26th 2014-DS-160 completed+Packet 3 sentFebruary,27th 2014- Package 4 received (email). Approved interview dateFebruary,28th 2014- Medical examMarch,3rd 2014-Medical exam pick up (approved)March,15th 2014-$240 visa payment done (Permata Bank)March,25th 2014- Interview date with my fiance rose.gif March,27th 2014- Submit his paystubs and my original birth certificate (APPROVED VISA!)April,3rd 2014- VISA ON HAND (L) :goofy: April,10th 2014- My fiance back to US for prepare our new lifeMay,19th 2014-Fly to Chicago! $1070 for i-485 ( aos) and biometrics. It is free to file i-131 (advance parole) and i-765 (work authorisation) together with i-485 thus highly recommended.

It is not where I breathe but where I love that I live.

Feb 22nd 2014 Received biometrics appointment for 7th March 2014 at 3pm
Feb 27th 2014 Did early walk in for Biometrics successfully
March 17th 2014 Received text & email with interview date on 22nd April 2014
March 18th 2014 Received interview letter in post with time & place, 2.15pm at Mt Laurel NJ
April 16th 2014 Received EAD card
April 22nd 2014 Had AOS interview at Mt Laurel NJ APPROVED
April 22nd 2014 Text & email Case Status: Card / Document Production
April 26th 2014 Received my Green Card today
Total time from Application to Approval 11 Weeks & 1 Day

March 7th 2017 N-400 sent to Dallas TX 

March 10th N-400 Application received

March 15th Cheque for $725 cashed

March 20th received NOA1 dated March 15th

March 24th received biometrics appointment for 04/05/17

March 28th did early walk in for biometrics 

October 10th received Citizenship Interview letter

November 13th Citizenship Interview at 10 am Mount Laurel NJ passed my interview.

November 13th Oath ceremony 3pm now a citizen

November 14th applied for my passport 

November 25th Received my passport 

November 27th Received my naturalization certificate back

November 28th Updated my social security records
