I usually try to look around to find credible sources. It's hard because there are so many biased material out there.

Bias is almost always present. I have been watching the new Cosmos series, quite informative, but the authors of the show show some prejudice as well, when they constantly ridicule religion and other ways of looking at the world around us. My inorganic chemistry professor back in lower division college days was a warrant officer serving in the Marine reserves. He used to say, "There are no incorrect models, just incomplete ones."

Unclebeer is not credible. I've started to ignore most of the jibber jabber drivel he posts.

The ignore feature is handy,

I don't think they are ridiculing any religion, so much as it is religion that brought ridicule upon itself with its views of the world around us. DeGrasse Tyson only points it out. but this is a discussion for another thread entirely..

It's called the Southern Strategy. Do read up on it for all the answers you're looking for. I know you won't becasue you quite obviously prefer pretending that it never happened.

So: you'll provide no credible proof. Gotcha.

By all means: avert your eyes from any concepts that might make you uncomfortable.

Jihad? Was that a personal attack? I think it was.

Yeah, it was. So I'm dealing with a racist and someone who hates Islam. Is it Monday already?

Jihad: A believer's internal struggle to live out the Muslim faith as well as possible

You're welcome.

<sigh> Demonize to your heart's content, since it seems to be the only arrow in your quiver.

Considering you brought up Jihad when it had nothing to do with the conversation, I'd say that's right up your alley.

Any port in a storm...

I guess if you can't beat them, insult them. Because that always works.
