3 dead after shootings at Kansas City-area Jewish centers

Three people were killed Sunday in shootings at two Jewish facilities near Kansas City, police said.

But it's too soon to say whether the shootings were a hate crime, Overland Park Police Chief John Douglass told reporters.

"It's too early in the investigation to try to label it. We know it's a vicious act of violence. Obviously, at two Jewish facilities, one might make that assumption, but we're going to have to know more about it," he said.

He went to a Jewish Community Center, a family place with kids to shoot. And then he went to a Jewish retirement center. He really has a high level of HATE for Jewish people. Sick and sad. Let him rot out the rest of his years in jail. People's hate is truly disgusting. I don't understand why people can't see that hate holds them back.

Apparently, he was a 73 year old Klansman with a shotgun.

Life in jail probably won't be that long.

It won't be that long but at least it will be something.

Watch the judge gives some b.s. excuse that he is too old to go to jail and survive #######.

...and a former Democrat gubernatorial candidate. MSM usually looks immediately for damning "Tea Party" connections in these sort of incidents, and rarely report when they're not.

I wonder what his political affiliation is right now? Maybe he voted for Obama and is a staunch Democrat?

Nope. Last run for office he made per the report that UncleBeer quotes was as a Republican.

He even unsuccessfully ran in the Democratic primary for North Carolina governor in 1984 and as a Republican for a state Senate seat in 1987, the SPLC said.

Hmm, wonder why UncleBeer left that part out...

Of course you'd choose to ignore the historic connection between the Klan and the Democrat party. Don't you wish you could erase that from history?

Who's ignoring it? I've actually talked about in detail in another thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/489871-jeb-bush-many-illegal-immigrants-come-out-of-an-act-of-love/page-5

"Unsmiley, did you see the quotes above the "strategy" or are you just going to ignore them because it shows there's a problem within the GOP? Everyone who's looked at history knows the KKK started as a Democratic Party. Let me ask you this, what's their political affiliation right now? Do you think they voted for Obama? It's amazing that people use that line of thinking. It's ok to go back 60 years when it's in your favor, but not ok when it doesn't support your view."

So, are we going to talk about where the KKK came from(Democratic party) or where they reside right now?

What you willfully ignore is that the Klansmen have been welcomed and absorbed into the Republican party about a half a century ago. No self-respecting Klansman would ever found to be aligned with the party that nominated and got elected a negro to the highest office of the country. But do continue to fool yourself into believing otherwise.
