Hi, I have my Oath Ceremony scheduled for next week. The letter does not state whether they require that the signature (on the back of the letter) be signed in front of an officer at the time of the ceremony. Is there any such requirement that it needs to be signed at the time of Oath Ceremony in front of an officer/judge?

Thanks.

Thank you so much for the replies as well other immigration related help that I received here on this forum for my wife & daughters immigration & Naturalization case. Today we went for my wife's Oath ceremony. Everything went fine. The signature does not need to be done before any officer. There were 700 new citizens at the ceremony today in Alexandria, VA ceremony which held at a local school's auditorium. The auditorium was nice. The schedule time was 8:00AM & they started check ins at around 8:00AM. The actual ceremony started at 10:00AM.

We also got the voter registration papers done while we were there. I made an appointment for her passport for this Thursday at a local post office.

Thanks & Regards.
