physically receiving green cards

Planning to enter US later in the year on CR-1 and we will be staying at mother in laws house officially (I know)

Actually we will be zooming round staying in motels in another state looking for a permanent place

When the green card arrives (say 4 weeks later), does it have to be signed for or does it just come in the mail box ?

I know it will bounce back if we use a forwarding address...

didn't have to sign. it arrived in a regular USCIS white envelope in my mailbox.

You asked Kiminon, but since my Greencard came in the same type of envelope:

Yes, I did get that e-mail where they said "application was approved, we issued you a card, etc. (or something like that)

I also received another e-mail telling me that they mailed out the approval notice....the approval notice was in my mailbox the same day as the Greencard
