I don't know what you're even talking about anymore. You're the one who came in here and tried to say that the OP would be a bad goddfather just because he's not used to the tradition of giving large baptism gifts. And now you're saying that this country is all about money?

No one asked you to apologize for your family's money. At the same time, why would you assume that the only reason people don't give large baptism gifts is because they are cheap and "don't love the baby"?

my hubby and I don't have a lot of money and we didn't spend a lot on our nieces and nephews presents but we made sure they each got at least one good present from us, so does that make us a bad aunt and uncle??
