I wanna ask a question. I was refused an immigrant visa due to past misrepresentation in my last two non immigrant visa application.

I applied for waiver for my past misrepresentation and I was approved on the 9th of this month but still waiting for the notice of approval and instruction from the embassy. my mistake was that I put wrong year in my waiver letter when the second misrepresentation happened. instead of 2004 I wrote 2006. would the date affect me in anyway? I already stated and accepted in my waiver letter that I had two times misrepresentation. The first time date was right but the second time date was wrong. I just discovered this mistake yesterday. what can i do now when the waiver is already approved.

I can tell you why nobody is answering: they do not want to hurt your feelings by saying: "hey you created this mess by your own fault ( putting wrong dates) so stop complaining about and keep with the flow of a sotuation you created YOURSELF!" Never the less I wish you luck.

What was your misrepresentation ? It should be a small issue that the date was wrong especially if it was closer to today ( depending on the misrepresentation the look for X years of good behavior after ) But it is never a good thing when you misrepresent and then have an error ( looks like you are always lying and can't keep the truth straight )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
