One way is fine. Check to see if a round trip is cheaper first, as there's a chance it might be.

If you get a round trip, just make sure to cancel the return flight after he's here.

You might be thinking of the usual advice for those getting tourist visa, i.e. buy a round trip ticket to demonstrate that he/she intends to returh home. Absoutely not required for K-1

But as one poster pointed out here, it may be cheaper to buy round trip and then get refund on the return trip once he is here. Just check out all optoins to save money. I found that time of day and day of the week affect ticket prices too.

Surprised about Isreal's policy.

When I bought my wife'w one way ticket from Cebu, Philippines.,., a round trip was within a hundred dollars of the one way.

Airline policies just do not make much sense sometimes!

Congrats.,.,.,you both look real happy! Good luck!

Why buy a one-way ticket when round trip is cheaper? Or did you manage to find a one-way ticket that was cheaper than round trip?

One way tickets are cheaper from DR to USA
