Visa in hands !

We didn't think they worked on Saturday but boy are we glad they do haha . I'd really like to know if I can buy him a one way or if it will cause him problems and I should buy a round trip ticket ???

I already bought a ticket for Tuesday but I only bought it one way since his visa is with intent to stay since we are getting married .... Can someone clarify this for me please . I don't want him going to the airport and having issues in DR..

After going back to the consulate April 4 for what appeared to be a mini interview without me , our case went into AP . On April 8 it changed to ISSUED and on April 13 my fiancé received his passport w visa inside and papers he has to take with him .

First , I am extremely happy and in a bit of a shock . This feels so unreal because there were moments that it felt this moment would never come. Endless nights crying and some times wanting to quit . Luckily we didn't and if all goes well he will arrive Tuesday morning !

Secondly , thanks to God and then to all the VJers for the support and information . It really makes a difference .

Congrats. I know when he gets to the US, it's going to feel like a dream for you. That's how I feel having my future wife with me. And the one-way ticket is fine, they might ask him what visa he has and ask for some visa paper. Just show them the visa stamp on the passport and tell them it's a K-1 and he should be fine.
