I'm sorry that I noticed and get tired of the illogical jump to conclusions that some people make, especially regarding race in this forum.

I think Janelle is still learning her way around here. When I first arrived, I thought Postmaster was the same way with his critique of Obama, but after many conversations, I was proved wrong thankfully.

The general attitude towards minorities here is less than favorable. There are quite a few people that make it about race in threads that myself or any other minority might not even be in at the time. I usually have to take it on both fronts, race and religion. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes because people tend to react to us differently based on our race. So even if someone is being funny, if you don't know them, you won't know that.

I was the same way my first month in here, I've had time to learn who's genuine and who's not. Janelle will come around in time. Be patient with her.

I never said the guy was racist. That was your conclusion. Telling someone to go back to Africa doesn't imply they are racist. We were having a discussion about whether or not I liked the U.S. and it was kind of left hanging like, well... if you don't like it....

So, you guys actually jumped. Not me. And I don't even think Postmaster took it that way either. Postmaster said I didn't like the U.S. very much, not me.

And again, I hear it a lot. If you don't like the U.S. move. Usually they say to Africa because I'm black. So, chill out.
