If you or someone you know has contemplated suicide and conquered the urge to take their own life, please share this link with them. There is hope. There are other options. There is a way of escape. Help others find their escape. Suicide is NOT painless. http://suicideescape.wix.com/suicideescapestories

Thank you.

If this is your site, you need to finish building it before you give everyone the link - NONE of the 'links' on the page are active, including the one that goes to your survey... but people are more likely to give you the information you want if you give them more to start with than 'I want to help people, please tell me how you managed NOT to kill yourself'... I think it's a very good idea, but you need to do more before you start asking the general public to contribute - if you're looking for stories to build the website, ask directly, don't just say 'here, go see my Very Important Site' when it's not even built yet. It's not going to help anyone until it has more than a front page.

Kajikit;

Thank you so very much for your comments. I am not a professional. The site would/could look and work a lot better. I did this "in the moment" because I was so devastated and felt helpless. At the time I was only thinking of what I could do at that moment to help someone--anyone. I'll work on the site. Thanks again.

You'll also probably get more response if you go to the various mental health groups on Facebook or on the web where people are used to thinking about/dealing with emotional health than you will here. Immigration is stressful, but one of the necessary qualifications to get a visa is to demonstrate good mental/emotional health, or at least good enough in the present that they'll let you in. While there's plenty of stress and anxiety and depression that goes along with the process, you're not going to get a lot of people falling that far unless things have gone disastrously wrong. And if they have/are they're not going to want to talk about it in public because it might prevent them from getting their much-longed-for visa.
