Sadly I got a RFE today waiting for my NOA2

Sometimes they lose stuff. Sucks, but it happens. With ours, it took a week to get the actual letter and probably a couple weeks after they received what they needed before we got the NOA2.

I feel your pain, as my wife is fron Cebu. I have two divorces, my visa service (in the Phils.) advised for me to go to the court house, and get new "certified" copies of both, with the "red" stamp," and the raised seal. Yes, they were copies, but certified by the probate judge in our county..,.,.,hope this is all it is.

If I was you, I would have what I described, ready to mail back the day I got the "rfe!"

my fiance is also from Cebu, way up in the mountains in some province, i dont even know how she will receive my stuff i need to send her, if our I129f is approved

the only possible thing i can think of is....not including ever single page of 2 of my divorce decrees. the i129 instructions say "proof" of divorce. i sent in the page where it said i was divorced, the date, and the judges signature. i did this for both divorces. that should be enough proof, obviously i was divorced or i couldnt have remarried!

It might be this as the others said. My husband's divorce agreement is 40 pages long and he photocopied every single page. It seemed like total overkill to give them every page but I guess its what they want. GL

Don't sweat it - we just got an RFE as well, but I've already mailed it back to them. The reason I think I got an RFE is because I didn't attach a separate page for the question that asks "Describe the circumstances under which you met"...so I typed out a whole page and mailed it to them. That question only has 2 lines on it on the I-129F but I think they want you to write an essay on that question.

Also got our RFE via mail today for an incomplete I-129f.

Missed out Part 3. Acknowledgement of Criminal Record.

We'll be sending it back tomorrow.

What do you mean "the reason I THINK I got an RFE..."? Was the reason not spelled out on the letter they sent?

I agree. The RFE will state what the RFE is for. A supplement for question 34a is not a requirement, so not sure that was what the actual RFE was about.
