How long it takes for NVC to send Approve K-1 petition to Embassy?

From experience & reports here in VJ, it should be about from 2 weeks to 1.5 months before they confirm receipt in USEM. However, if it has been done processing at NVC, your fiance can call NVC for the MNL#. If it's been like a week, he should receive a letter from NVC stating your case is approved along with your MNL#.

You can go ahead and pay for our visa application fee once you know your MNL# .

p.s. You might not see interview dates soon, as recent reports in PH forum say they are fully booked even until June. But do pay visa fee asap, as there are random cancellations in the next few days/ weeks.

Sorry, but what's MCN? You only need the MNL# so you can pay and then schedule an appointment. You can find the MNL# in the NVC letter too.

The NOA2 from USCIS and letter from NVC are 2 different things. You will receive a letter from NVC in the future when they send your case to the embassy. Since your petition was approved last week, I would start calling the NVC every day until you have your case number. Don't worry if they don't have it yet, just be persistent and call every day. Also don't pay attention to them if they tell you to call back in 8 weeks, cause that is a standard response they give you.

Sorry about that. I was confused when you said approved. You can NVC, but it will be an international call. Best for your fiance to call them.

That's right. Your fiance can call NVC if they have received your case from uscis, probably a good time is middle of next week. For now, just be patient and take some time to read those links I gave earlier. Will definitely be a good guide as you go along.

I am confuse i thought noa2 is I-797 form according to my fiance what he receive today in the mail is I-798?
